What the rent covers, and what it does not

Rent is for the bed, the desk, the wardrobe, hot water, wifi and two meals a day. It does not cover lunch on weekdays, laundry beyond the weekly wash, or the heater in your room in January, which is metered and shared by the room. We say this on the first day so nobody is surprised on the fifth.
